Before using any skincare product containing retinol, including Vitamin A Retinol Mask, it is recommended to perform a patch test on a small area of your skin to check for sensitivity. If no adverse reactions occur, you can start using it on your entire face two to three times a week, along with moisturizing products. Once your skin adjusts, you can gradually increase usage to once daily.
Since retinol accelerates skin cell turnover, it is advisable to avoid using it in conjunction with other acidic skincare products, exfoliants, or deep-cleansing products to prevent excessive irritation. Retinol also increases sensitivity to UV radiation, so it is essential to apply sunscreen during the day while using retinol skincare products. It is recommended to use retinol products at night to focus on skin regeneration and repair.
